Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade/Replacement:
Looking for more storage in your laptop? We can replace your hard drive in your laptop, giving you more space than you ever thought possible. Includes a data backup onto your choice of media.

Data Backup:
Getting a new computer? Worried about losing data? We can backup everything from your data files to a complete backup of your PC in case of catastrophic loss. All data backups include onto your choice of media and migrating data if you are moving to a new PC.

Memory Installation:
Is your computer running slow? Is the new application you just bought not working? Concerned about upgrading to the latest version of Windows®? Adding RAM to your computer is one of the easiest ways to get better performance out of your computer. Our service includes telling you which kind of RAM your system needs, purchasing it, and installing it on the spot.

Broadband Service:
Are you having issues with your broadband service? Is your provider giving you the run around and not helping? We can handle any OS and any High Speed Service. Our broadband service makes sure that everything is working from your network card to the modem hooked up. We will also service your network, making sure that it is working properly and, if necessary, will contact your high speed provider to ensure that any issues that are not your own are taken care of. Includes securing wireless networks, however, does not include running fiber or cables.

Dial-up Service:
Are you having problems with your dial-up, or interested in signing up with a new provider? We can diagnose and fix any dial-up issues and also set you up with a new provider of your choice.

Operating System Repair/ Install/ Upgrade:
Wanting to upgrade your Operating System? Perhaps a virus or spyware has gone ramped on your system and you want to start over again. We can install a fresh copy of an OS onto your system or perform a restore for you. Includes drivers install, Windows®/MacOS® update schedule set up, and AVG Free virus scanner and MS Defender anti-spyware or your licensed copy of antivirus and spyware software. Also includes reinstallation of two (2) software titles. We can only install software titles that you have proof of licensing for.

Virus and Spyware Removal:
They're out there, and when they get in your system, everything from pop-ups to files being deleted, to theft of your personal information. In a report on PC World Magazine "A survey conducted by Internet service provider America Online found that 20 percent of home computers were infected by a virus or worm, and that various forms of snooping programs such as spyware and adware are on a whopping 80 percent of systems." We have the tools to purge your system of these bugs and will show you how to keep your system clean. We will install AVG Free and Microsoft® Defender onto the computer at the client's request.

System Tune-up:
Is your system not running up to par? We will perform:

Wireless Home Networking:
Do you have a laptop that has a wireless card? Perhaps running cables is not an option to hook up satellite computers. We can set up a wireless network for you allowing all of your PC's to share information, printers, and the internet. With your service, we offer your choice of securing your network by either WEP encryption or MAC ID securing.

Wired Home Networking:
Like the idea of having your house wired for the internet? We can help set your house up so that anyone in any room can connect to the internet. Includes setting up file and print sharing for each PC present, and training on how to connect other PC's to the network. Requirements: A site survey by a Solar Flare Technician, all holes must be drilled by the owner, all materials must be purchased by the owner, and credit card pre-authorization is required.

On-Site Estimate:
Having a problem with your PC, but not quite sure what it is? Let our experts diagnose your computer. Most problems can be diagnosed within a half hour. The time spent diagnosing is included in any fix of a problem we ecnounter.

Security Assessment:
Concerned about your system security? Let us set up the provisions of your router, firewall, or system to ensure that your data and your PC are secured.

Training:
Ever wanted to have your own computer expert showing you how to do things on your computer? At Solar Flare we can have one of our Expert Technicians come and give you one on one training on the subject you choose. From Digital Photography to Digital Music, we are the experts on all computer subjects. Includes fixing issues that we may run into.
